First Pakistani Hindu Pilot in History

For the first time in Pakistan’s history, a Hindu has been selected as a pilot in the Pakistan air force. Rahul Dev has been recruited as a GDP Pilot (general duty pilot) officer in the Pakistan Air Force.

According to Pakistani media, Rahul Dev belongs from Tharparkar, a district in Sindh province, where a large population of the Pakistani Hindu community resides.

All Pakistani Hindu Panchayat expressed happiness over Dev’s appointment as first Pakistani Hindu pilot. They said many members of the minority community are serving in the civil service as well as the army. Many doctors in the Pakistan also belong to the Hindu community.
