Federal Minister for Information Senator Shibli Faraz has welcomed the statement made by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in favor of Muslims.

He said that UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres welcomes the priority of overcoming Islamophobia 

The federal information minister added that attributing the corona virus to Muslims was a reflection of the thinking of the hate-based Indian extremist political party, the BJP

Senator Shibli Faraz also said that extremist attitude against Muslims in India is a violation of human rights.

It should be noted that UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, while addressing the virtual meeting of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference in the United Nations, said that the elimination of hatred against Islam and Islamophobia is the first priority of the United Nation
