Shopping Malls, Cinemas, Metro, Gyms and Offices Reopened in Dubai 

On Tuesday, Dubai announced the reopening of major facilities. Businesses in the Dubai can resume operations assuring that they adhere to strict Covid-19 precautionary measures, including social distancing, reduced capacity and mandatory use of face masks and gloves by customer and staff.

In Dubai, most businesses are now open, No entry for children below 12 and senior citizens above 60 or those with chronic diseases.

Public transport timings are also extended in Dubai. Dubai Metro Timings: Red and Green Lines will operation from Saturday to Thursday from 07:00am to midnight and on Friday, the service timings will be from 10:00am to midnight

Shopping malls
Hygiene protocols include mandatory face masks and 2-metre social distancing for patrons and a rigorous sterilization routine; 30% of parking to remain closed; high-risk individuals such as people above 60 years old and children under 12 years are not permitted. Malls in Dubai can now open until 10pm, at 70% capacity

Cinemas
Cinemas in Dubai opened assuring to maintain social distancing. However ticket prices will not hike despite operating at 30% capacity.

Gyms
All equipment to be sanitized by a company approved by the Dubai Municipality. Partitions shall be installed between equipment, lockers and changing rooms and shower rooms should be closed, people must wear face masks and gloves all the time

Offices
Offices are opened with social distancing after strict lockdown due to Covid-19. The 30% cap on staff strength at offices has been increased to 50 per cent. All elevators must have markings on the floor that indicate appropriate social distancing and users must comply by standing on these markings.

Dubai Metro
Commuters are advised to plan their trips and reach Metro stations 30 minutes before their trip. Masks and social distancing are mandatory.

Events and celebrations are not permitted, temperature checks, social distancing and masks are compulsory. Up to 5 members of single groups are allowed per entry; only individuals between 12 and 60 will be allowed.
